How do I suggest a barcode for an existing food item?

Step-by-step guide

1. Open the Calsia app and go to the food logging section where you normally search for foods.
2. Tap the barcode scanning icon and scan the barcode on the food packaging.
3. If the code is not found in our database, the app will prompt you to select the food item you want to link this code to.
4. Add the selected food to your food log as usual.
5. A checkbox labeled "Suggest EAN for this food" will appear next to the added item; check this box.
6. Complete the entry (save/confirm) - this submits the EAN suggestion.
7. The suggestion is sent to our administrators for approval. Once approved, the EAN code will be permanently linked to the food item, allowing you to find it directly by scanning in the future.
