Why do I see a different kJ value in the app than what the Garmin Connect app shows me?

The app only records active calories that you burn during physical activity, and the differences between the data in the app and Garmin Connect should be minimal. It is common for the values in Dine4Fit and in Garmin Connect to differ by up to 10%. If your values differ by more than 10% during the day, this may be due to a very short period of physical activity or because the value of resting calories that the body burns during the day (for example, through breathing or blood circulation) is still increasing. In the evening, the kJ values are equal. If you have kJ set as the main energy unit in the Dine4Fit app and want to compare the values with those in Garmin Connect, multiply the kJ shown in Garmin activity by 0.2388. You will get the value shown in kcal in Garmin Connect.
